Denmark v Australia | 2018 FIFA World Cup | Match Highlights

Denmark and Australia played in an evenly-fought, intense contest, ending in a 1-1 draw in their second match in Group C at the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia™ in Samara.

Christian Eriksen opened the scoring in the seventh minute when Nicolai Jorgensen laid off a well-placed pass for the Tottenham Hotspur star to beyond Socceroos keeper Mat Ryan.

However a Yussuf Poulsen handball inside the Danish area – following a VAR review – presented Australia the break they need. Mile Jedinak converted the resulting penalty and a yellow card for Poulsen means he will miss Denmark’s next match.

HIGHLIGHTS | Scotland 2-0 Denmark

FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 Qualifiers
Scotland 2-0 Denmark
Monday, 15 November 2021, kick-off 7:45pm
Hampden Park, Glasgow

Scorers:

Scotland: John Souttar (35’) & Che Adams (86’)

It was an unforgettable night at Hampden, as Scotland sealed victory with a sensational performance over Denmark. The previously unbeaten Danes had barely put a foot wrong in the World Cup qualifiers and were rightfully favourites going into the game. But Scotland were the better team from start to finish.

The Tartan Army can now look ahead to the play-offs as a seeded team with a home fixture incoming. A truly fantastic performance.

HIGHLIGHTS | Denmark 2-0 Scotland

FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 Qualifiers
Denmark 2-0 Scotland
Wednesday, 1 September 2021, kick-off 7.45pm (UK time)
Telia Parken, Copenhagen

Scorers
Denmark: Daniel Wass (14), Joakim Maehle (15)

Denmark ran out 2-0 winners in Copenhagen against Scotland, maintaining their 100% record in Group F.

Two first half goals from Wass and Maehle put Scotland on the back foot and although Steve Clarke’s men came out stronger in the second-half it wasn’t enough to prevent a 2-0 defeat ahead of Saturday’s home match against Moldova.
