  1. I think people will revolt. Eventually. A number of London boroughs are refusing to implement the plan for the "low emissions" zone and the high ups are seeing it's a vote loser and now they're blaming the Mayor of that city and getting ready to have him walk the plank,so it shows if people do refuse to comply en masse They have to retreat.

  2. Hello Stu, myself and my fellow (very successful) Conspiracy Theorists reckon that this issue regarding the future banning of combustion engines and the forced conversion to EVs is very simple. The Elites, the WEF, the Globalists, the Greens etc. don't want people to drive a car at all. When we are all 'converted' to EVs, what's to stop them from just switching off the electricity or banning it's use (as happened recently in California). Also the economics behind EVs don't add up at all. What happens in 5 years when you need new batteries? There is not enough lithium in the world to power even a 10% global EV fleet. and most of that mined with slave-type labour.

  3. I have been to a few fine dining restaurants in London in the past but never paid more than £50 to £60 per head. 290€ for one meal, no matter how good the food or chef is it’s just bonkers! For people with more money than sense!

  4. You have the same issues with hydrogen infrastructure only more so. 12 years is a very short time to build an infrastructure that doesn't exist at the design stage today.

  5. Hola from Mississippi, Stu! It sounds like the chef was trying to be considerate and respectful but Gates may have wanted an authentic experience. Definitely strange but I often don’t understand the behavior of wealthy people.

  6. Hi Stuart, sorry can't always find time to watch but always try to remember to like, on YT lately there has been an ad announcing putting up solar panels "subvenciones"by the governnent. Please can you or your viewers explain everything? Thks, Joy

  7. Never gave much thought to buying olive oil in Spain. Here in California, we have some good local olive oil, but expensive. I go through a lot of olive oil now and go with the Colavita brand for most uses. It's a tad bitter when sipped, but it's cheap. For some things, I use a single estate Spanish olive oil, which when sipped, is excellent, namely for making Gazpacho (Strained) which I drink daily due to none of the ingredients being cooked. Otherwise for my tortillas de patatas and cooking, I use the cheap stuff.

  8. Stu, EV charging stations are not as visible as Petro stations. They are often discrete and found behind buildings, churches, etc. just because you don’t see them, doesnt mean they do not exist. They are easy to find if u download an app on your cell phone. Many more stations are being installed by the month. Please promote them as we need to get away from gas dependency. My car gets 500 KM per charge and it’s quiet, clean and efficient. Think forward.

  9. Electric cars are a waste of time. If you turn on the radio, lights, heater and other consumers your battery will soon go down. Also when you put the foot down the battery goes down as quickly. Cars that claim to have 600km will return 250km maybe 300km driving like your Granny. I wouldn't buy an electric car until they have a 1000km range. It's funny we have to cut back on electricity with air-con etc but the government are promoting electric cars. Huh! Sorry for the rant stu. Enjoy Murcia.

  10. …And there's an old military base on the hills between Cartagena and Mazarron with some old cannons and the ammo storage below them in the hollowed-out hill, bit of a windy route to get there but worth it IMO

  11. While in Murcia, I recommend the abandoned mine in Mazarron pueblo, you used to be able to just park near the road and walk up there – not sure if you still can. Some great views and interesting landscape for photos, and the dog will likely enjoy the paseo! After that, head for the Puerto a couple of miles away and have a beer on a terraza overlooking the sea. Or go up to El Faro for more sea views. Enjoy your trip!

  12. What is that auxiliar program for English teaching? Do you have a link to it or good keywords to find it? Only found something for Canada teaching Spanish in Canada. I want to live and work in Spain. I speak English French and Spanish
