The problem with Spaniards speaking English is not because of the fact that Spanish is a Latin language. Portuguese people are great at English and also speak a Latin language. The problem is that they refuse to speak English within their countrie. In Portugal every form of media is in English while in Spain they translate it

Basically, Spain is Latin like Italy, Portugal, Romania. Latins were Romans who by default were Moors and Arabs. They are genetically Arabic, Moorish and gypsy.

Only place I've ever been to in Spain is Barcelona. La Sagrada, El Castelldefels, etc. are a few I saw. Only spent like 2 days there lol.
English is a Germanic language with tonnes of Latin.
I find Spanish easy to learn, coming from English, Afrikaans and German, some French, a tiny bit of Italian.
