There’s no such thing as an ‘easy start’ when it comes to the Critérium du Dauphiné, this year the race will kick off with a hilly stage through the Ardèche that looks set to award a fast-finishing all-rounder with the first yellow jersey. Only the strongest and fittest riders will fight it out for stage honours in Beauchastel.

Was a bit of a challenge watching the stage on Race TV when it had no commentary…
Here to see how the Trek Madone performed ?
Fantastic Van Aert!
Oh, no! Kirby! Better find the highlights somewhere else.
So no coverage on gcn plus?
slightly bummed this is not on GCN+
WvA completely rider skills ..???
I was not expecting Sean Quinn of all people to get third in a bunch sprint. Here’s hoping that’s an indication that the team as a whole is coming out ready to play.
Looks like he did a big flex spooking the Trek sprinter off to the left. What a badass
Wout is a beast.
Yet another beautiful victory of WVA and TJV! TJV sounds like TGV in French 😀
Wout just has amazing legs and an amazing engine. He's probably the only guy with a chance to beat Pogacar in Le Tour. Still missing Alaphilippe though. Hopefully he'll be back on a bike sometime this year.
Glad to have CK back on commentary! Love him.
Nice to see Wout is getting some gentle warm up miles in his legs before the Cross season starts again in Oct :)..
Pidcock is not here? Why?
Good to see Wout feeling good and in form heading toward the TdF.
How l wish l would be there doing the true supporter 's job guys…just do not ask Ok? Big loving hug riders, cycling never ending adventure out there in the wild, l am burning the proper calories only watching ye ye ye
Lovely race, thanks a lot GCN
Congrats to my virtual boyfriend W.V.A.????????
I will see you later
From Norway with love
??????????????
WVA vs Jakobsen will be an interesting duel next month
Loved the way WVA looked back at Ethan Hayter after crossing the line as if to say 'you will have to do better if you going to beat me'
Thank you……Peace
Incredible sprint by WvA!
I really like WvA's sprinting style. So clean.
