About:
Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band’s first tour in 10 years ended with an emotional series of 10 concerts at New York’s famed Madison Square Garden. Live In New York City, featuring performances from the last two nights of that tour (chronicled partially in an Emmy Award-winning HBO special), captures “the heart-stopping, pants-dropping, house-rocking, earth-quaking, booty-shaking, love-making, legendary E Street Band” as Bruce and his blood brothers embarked on an exciting new musical chapter together. Now, for the first time, this magical program comes to YouTube in its entirety for fans new and old to experience.

  1. One of the greatest songs ever written. The piano solo by Roy and when Clarence takes front Stage just brings a tear to me eye and still gives me goosebumps every time I hear this song even after 40 yrs.

  2. Hands down the best version of this song they ever performed, the tempo is perfect bruce’s voice was at its best and the band especially Clarence were flawless!

  3. As sublime as all the musicianship is – and it's an epic song – what truly makes this video truly exceptional and meaningful for me is the visible emotion for Clarence, Brude and their band mates throughout his solo and at the end. The moment where they speak to each other after Clarence takes in the moment is just wonderful to see. Truly soulful.

  5. This song shouldn’t exist. That sax solo shouldn’t. They’re unreal. And the only loss as sad as the Rat is the Big Man. He ran out of breaths but man the ones he used making music live forever.
