Banda Gaites LLacin from the Northern Spanish Asturias plays Danny Boy. The Band marched in the St. Patrick’s Day Parade in New York City and toured the New York Metro area. This video was shot at the Harrison (NJ) Library Park while the band was visiting New Jersey. Harrison Councilman Anselmo Millan was one of the individuals who assisted the band on it’s visit to the United States of America. If you don’t get some chills down your back, check your pulse. When anyone asks " Can you play Danny Boy on the pipes ?" I just say no. You have to mangle the tune so much it is almost unrecognizable.
Je préfère les bandas de gaïtas de Galice, les Asturiens font trop copié-collé avec les pipebands écossais, ils parraissent artificiels.et sont d'une tristesse !!!
