The Black Stars of Ghana has been drawn in Group H of the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

The West African country has been paired with European giants, Portugal, South American side, Uruguay and South Korea.

  1. Lol I guarantee you Korea will not be in last place. Korea does well against African teams. Korea just needs a result against Portugal or Uruguay to move onto next stage. Korea almost always take a head at every WC: Germany, France, Portugal, etc. This is going to be an interesting group.

  2. Ghana has a chance to take revenge for the 2010 quarter-final against Uruguay and Suarez specifically. Gosh I hope Ghana destroys Uruguay like 4-0 and Uruguay doesn’t make it out of the group hahahaha

  6. A friend of mine who's Ghanaian says Ghana has the worst team and no one is expection much from the team at all this year. In the meantime, these people are very optimistic being from the pot 4. I'm confused.

  7. Portugal & Uruguay are the two favorites to advance to the knockout stage. However, you just never know what will happen. Korea can sucker punch any of these two so don’t sleep on Korea. Same for Ghana, you just can’t underestimate them, if you do they’ll make you pack your bags and go home quicker than you’d think!

  9. Under dog tag is good as team can play freely with no pressure faced by top dogs. If they can manage this aspect…can be a surprise package. Football is 11 v 11 on the field….courage…nothing to lose mentality…sometimes stats can be misleading.

I am Uruguayan and if it were not for Suarez and Cavani who are in their final stage and it is very difficult to generate strikers of that level, Uruguay has a better selection than in 2010 because the only thing they had was heart. Even so, I don't trust any selection since we can lose to anyone, Uruguay has always been like this, we can beat Brazil and leave it out and then lose to Bolivia, the history of Uruguay is like this.   14. Revenge for 2010…12 years in the making but we also have to face Portugal, a rematch from 2014 where we lost that game. South Korea is the match we essentially have to win especially because it is our 2nd match since we face Portugal first and we face Uruguay in our last group game.

    2018: Uruguay knocked Portugal in final 16

    every game was 1 point win game or shoot out. this group is gonna be interesting all about revenge

  18. South Korea have a quality team, with one of the best strikers in the world in Son. Uruguay always do well in world cups. It's crazy how we think we will.just qualify when we can't even beat Comoros and a poor Nigerian side, all we have is buga buga and selfish football. We need to totally revamp the team to have a chance
