23. The Italians are not in the right position to blame other teams of matchfixing. Of course this was fixed. Swedens last goal, the keeper should had grip the ball. In 2002 world cup that was very obvious that Korea fixed the match vs Italy.     In terms of the 2-2 draw, I don't understand why they say it's an unusual result?? It's not…it would've been dodgy if 1 team was 4-0 or 4-1 up and they just took their foot off the gas and it finished 4-4 but it wasn't the case….Being 2-1 up then conceding a 2-2 goal late on is quite common and also look at the next major tournament Sweden got a late equaliser to draw 2-2 with England in 2006 and I know I didn't want Sweden to get that I wanted England to finish group with 100% record for a change.
    Also by Denmark conceding the late equaliser to Sweden it meant Denmark finished 2nd instead of 1st which I'd imagine you wouldn't want to do vs your local rival.
    Why was it so crucial that Italy had to be eliminated? There was still many top teams in this competition and Italy at this point hadn't won anything for a long time and Denmark & Sweden were likely to be eliminated in quarter-finals anyway and both were.

27. I think both teams wanted to win. But when it was 2-2 nobody wanted to endanger their spot to win. So they played safe. If any player in either team would make a mistake and lose the qualification. That player would be hated in that country. Both team knew about the 2-2 opportunitie. And when it presented itself they took it. But both team went into the game to win. They are foremost rivals. But the fans wanted both Nordic teams to qualify and lose a hard opponent. 28. If I was Italian I would probably also have thought the match was rigged to end 2-2. It is unlikely for that result to occur out of pure chance. That said I sincerely believe that the match was not rigged beforehand. The teams played as they should with their best efforts. I personally think that the danes were a little bit better. When the 2-2 goal came at the end, that's when both teams decided "ok we both have a result we are happy with, lets keep it at that". In that situation most teams would have done the same including Italy. Even though 2-2 is unlikely to occur it is not a ridiculous result for two evenly matched teams. If 5-5 was needed and it ended 5-5. I would agree that it was rigged.
