The Denmark squad returned to Copenhagen following their 2-1 loss to England in the Euro 2020 semi-final at Wembley Stadium.
They applauded the media and their supporters as they entered the terminal at Copenhagen airport, before embracing and farewelling each other after their emotional run through the tournament.

Wow, from a country of 6 million, playing in a city with 9 million, and they could have pulled it off too…without that soft penalty and a little more attacking flair from them, who knows…? No one really tipped them either, but they can be proud, so can their country/supporters…they haven't lodged any formal complaints about the 2 balls on the pitch, the laser or the soft penalty!
How are they heroic? Just because Eriksen collapsed doesn't give them bonus points for participating in a competition they got kicked out of.

Why are people acting like they deserved that game against England. We had over 20 shots on goal to their 6. It doesn’t matter if some weren’t on target, we controlled the whole game. The free kick was lovely though.
