10 Places in NEW JERSEY You Should NEVER Move To

Wow! There are SO many bad areas in New Jersey!

New Jersey. The garbage state…I mean Garden State. Sure, it has beaches, waterfalls and easy access to both New York City and Philadelphia, but let’s face it, New Jersey has a bad reputation. It’s known for its overflowing landfills, public corruption and high taxes. And while there are some great places to live in New Jersey, you won’t see them on this list. The places we’re about to discuss help give New Jersey its nickname as the “Armpit of America.”

We’ve looked at a wide range of data, including crime rates, unemployment rates, poverty, education and more. Plus, we took into account YOUR opinion – that’s right – you New Jerseyans have a lot to say about which places in your states are great and which are not so great. Sadly, while New Jersey is home to the great Frank Sinatra, he’s not singing Newark, Newark. Let’s begin, shall we?

  1. As a New Jerseyian most of this is pretty accurate. However once you’re away from the Philly and NYC areas there’s a lot of beautiful towns, farms, modern cities, beaches, mountains, clean suburbs and have some of the most expensive cities in the country as well.

It is also overpriced, the tolls are insane, the traffic sucks.

    But we love it.

  2. I guess you’ve not been to central and northern west side… take a drive up route 29 by the Delaware river. I live in Princeton- very safe.

  3. "The garbage state" as you proclaim it has the best education system in all of America, and is thought to be one of the safest and healthiest states. It is also ranked as the #1 state to raise your children in. I would MUCH rather live in NJ than most other states besides the northeast and a couple other places. Don't insult states without the evidence to prove your point.

  4. NJ is nice af. It's one of the richest states in the country and Bergen County NJ is consistantly in the top 5 for richest Countys in the country. But of course once you step out of the rich nice areas it's hoods and ghettos. Literally drive from a 10 million dollar mansion then 5 minutes away in the next town is a trap house in the hood. Lol if you live near the Bergen County/ Passaic County border you know what I'm talking about. There's really no middle. You're either living in a rich neighborhood or a poor neighborhood. Basically if your middle class you're trying to keep up and afford living in a rich neighborhood or living comfortable but in a poor neighborhood. Very rare you find any true middleclass towns. NJ is the state of 2 extremes.

  5. I grew up in Passaic and all the families and friends I knew all worked. Most of the population is immigrants, so the statistic that they don't work could be off. There is also tons of good authentic Mexican food.

  6. New Jersey is the best State in USA, no matter how many elections been rigged. Now on, will be much better than ever, now that demonscrapts got caught on their elections's rigging system

  7. I love NJ. High taxes and expensive housing is the main problem. NJ ranks one of the highest in public education across the nation. Plenty of amenities. AMAZING FOOD and still have access to beaches. I prefer central NJ over northern and southern. Jersey is DOPE.

  8. I have lived in Jersey for almost 50 years (all my life) – this place is a complete and utter shit hole. Even is the most richest areas suck because its a nanny state. You cant DO anything.

  9. The list of nice places to live in NJ is probably smaller. High taxes, high housing prices, poor schools, and high crime and government corruption all make NJ one of the worst places to raise a family in the US.

  10. Haha the garbage state dude u r funny that place is trashed except for a few streets in Hoboken ..Patterson breathtaking waterfalls? Haha..More like hold your breath riding thru ..reminds me of Oakland Ca …thanks for warning us of these places and helping me cancel many vacations & roadtrips..Love your vids man, happy travels

  11. …um. only thing people hate about New Jersey is the tax Rate/ Prices of Homes.. and the snow… This guy sounds like sum1 from MontAna and hates east coast. horrible stats.

  12. 7:538:25 nothing but incorrect statements??‍♂️ I was born and raised in jersey… smh ?? He jus chatting is he evem from jersey?? apparently ive never heard please or thank you before in my life

  13. I’m from Cumberland county. Bridgetown Millville and Vineland are in there. It’s not as bad as it’s being made out to be. There are tons of places to go other than apples bees and plenty of farm land and woods that aren’t involved in any of this.

  14. I'm born and raised in North Jersey, and we never even heard of Lindenwold. Vineland? HAHA This guy is clueless!! Where's Newark? Irvington? Trenton? They are dangerous cities, NOT Lindenwold.
