Do bread and hot dogs make good bait?
CAN YOU STILL GO ON FISHING ON THIS KIND OF WEATHER, LIKE 50 degrees.
WHICH PART OF JERSEY SHORE YOU GO BRO.
You harp about tourist being on the beach…well guess what if you have to drive over 30 minutes to get to the beach you’re a tourist as well.
I was about 3 miles offshore in cape may NJ and caught a sand tiger shark about 6,7 foot 180, 200 lbs
Caught a few in MARGATE NJ
I live along the jersey shore. I catch these fish fairly often you make it seem like it's rare but I catch them as early as may and into early October. A average year you will catch 30 to 50 if you fish almost daily like I do. Try 14th to 20th ave in seaside park and you will catch them
Which part of South Jersey you go on fishing?
Great Video. I caught my first Atlantic Chub Mackerel a few weeks ago a few miles out of barnegat inlet. great tasting fish also
Just caught my first spanish mackerel of the year up in sea isle city yesterday. Was kinda shocked.
Weird! I caught a trigger fish off the beach in Avalon NJ, last July…2 months earlier caught one in Boca Raton, FL. Just a weird fish to see in Jersey.

We used catch a lot of them in the ‘80’s off Cape May .

What is the length of your rod?
lately ive been using 1-2 oz spoons in the surf and it works great for bluefish, but i always try to find ones without treble hooks
Nice
Yo I was reeling in bonito the other day in stone harbor. This summer has been great.
Seeing redfish is labeled as a species in the Northeast, have you ever seen them in NJ?
Sea robins have been dominating the sandeels in areas along the western CT shore even though there's been a number of small blues. It's just a matter of finding those yellow-eyed devils.
Global warming is real 🙁
Chris, spaniards have been here in NJ for as long as I can remember but the one big difference this year is the sheer number of them around, this early, and you made that point in your video very well. Like any other specie that "comes and goes" they are very cyclical, and there are boom and bust years. This year, and last, being real booms. Bonito, bluefish, ling, weakfish, croakers, blowfish, and even kingfish have followed similar patterns over the years. Even porgies and triggerfish have followed the same patterns over the years!
Finally c LOL
I really have to start posting videos of the brown. blue, and thresher sharks I catch around Long branch Nj about 3 miles out from the beach. bet that would get a ton of hits and also warn people there ARE actually decent sized sharks right off the beach where everybody swims lol

Fishing with subscribers sometime?
I’m just hoping that with all these species making early showings doesn’t mean we are in for a vicious winter
Good kingfish sightings in South Jersey, Flukin has picked up quick. Gonna be a great summer. Great vid as always dude!
I’m just waiting for back bay nj kayak fishing videos to come
I’ve been catching bonito on the western south shore of Long Island in June for over 30 years. They’re usually mixed in with bluefish.
What bait?? Nice vid.
Love your vids man!! Great content always!
