Robbed
Was really surprised the public vote did so badly. Wasn't expecting much from jury vote but public was a big letdown too, deserved way better imo.
Like a lot of people who supported this song strongly I still didn't understand what happened to see this entry reach such a bad ranking at the Eurovision Grand Finale despite its obvious artistic quality.
I'm French but i truly try to stay as objective as possible. I think my country sent this year another good song that was completely different from Barbara Pravi's one in 2021. It was so unconventional in many ways. However, originality is always highly risky. Either it is well-accepted and paid careful supportive attention, either it is fully rejected. No half nor balance in the audience's reaction in such a context. Obviously, the negative scenario took place. Not fair of course but… that's life.
"Fulenn" quickly created radical split in the audience: no one stayed neutral when hearing this song. Whereas some people strongly disliked the French entry thousands of fans appeared worldwide fast though. But most of them couldn't vote during the Finale because they lived in some non-European countries & out of Australia. Alvan the young man who's the boss & the artistic leader of the band has to know that he now has numerous fans all around the world thanks to Spotify where the song has been listened to & downloaded by thousands of people. The music project Alvan & Ahez has got strong potential that was seen by fans. I would suggest that the band performs live on stage or at TV in Asia, South America, Australia, New Zealand & Africa (southern part) for instance. "Fulenn" has to be released as a single in my opinion and be detached from the Eurovision context in which it wasn't acknowledged as it deserved. This song is a true banger & has full potential to become a smash hit. Personally, I'd like to see an extended 4 or 5 minute version be released.
After such a failure at Eurovision I'm afraid of seeing France send a new cliché "French" song (i.e. ballad with poor beat) next year.
So glad you like it Dereck ! Bises de Bretagne ?
Even the fellow celtic Irish didnt vote for them … too bad 🙁
They placed 24 out of 25, in my opinion the biggest robbery of the entire year
we hit rock bottom again!
absolutly unfair, don't get the result!!!Eurovision sound still stuck in the 90's…So pathetic, the beat and the sound is too crazy for Eurovision. Too bad
Normally, when France is the last, I agree, but this one is definitely the most underrated song of all Eurovision history. Shocked with the results!
France is condamned to send Piaf's boring remakes as this is apparently what people love to listen to at home.

Shame as it was one of the best songs In the final.
The song is so similar with PRODIGY Smatch my bitch up, song from the 90's.
I very much like the premise of this song, the singing in Celtic etc, but I feel like they could have done more with it and it got a bit repetitive towards the end, so my interest kind of fizzled out.
This Guy is from my City and yes Here guys are very hot and sexy
This is the mother language of my grandmother, mother side of my family.
i liked Tera , Spain 2nd place in national selection this year more
Great reaction!?Please also react to Finland's Eurovision entry for this year!??? The Rasmus delivered an incredible performance at the grand final and "Jezebel" is an ace song.??⚡️Definitely the most famous contestants this year, their song "In The Shadows" was a worldwide hit back in 2003!???
REACT… TO… MOLDOVA
Stop Eurovision, The Voice, etc…
France was totally robbed this year. The penultimate place ?
REACT TO AUSTRALIAS SONG
Hi derek can you put the subtitle?
I’m intrigued to know your final ranking of reacted songs…
In 2021 France came 2nd with a song that is a pure stereotype French song like Edith Piaf and when it's brand new and different people don't vote for France. To bad because its a really good song ?
great song
You should react on Terra – Tanxugerra you will love it
From the contest results, this is one of the least appreciated songs in Europe. Although it sounds good to me. Go figure! Maybe Europe doesn't like France… This is just as simple as this. Note: People of Liverpool & Madrid have good reasons for this, but Eurovision took place before the may 29th events. Sorry for you guys.
Le vol de l’année
I love this song ❤
It was near the bottom but I frankly prefer a bad result at Eurovision with this song than some better results in the past.
????????
Celtic – how it is said depends on its usage. For the football team it is a soft C for the group of languages or the group of peoples it is a hard C
best French entry in a long long time
Quite how France finished 2nd last is beyond me! I loved it & voted for it from here in the UK loved the thumping baseline & everything about the song, France was robbed IMO!
it's cool that Breton has been highlighted in the same way as Corsican or Catalan, it shows the diversity of France, not something focused on Paris.??
Listen to Dakhabrakha, you will lose your pants and your head:) Vesna for example
