Vuelta a España 2003 Del 6 al 28 de septiembre de 2003 se disputó la 58ª Vuelta a España, carrera ciclista de fondo por etapas y una de las tres grandes vueltas, que constó de 21 etapas con un total de 2.957 km (1.837 millas), y fue ganado por Roberto Heras del equipo de ciclismo US Postal. Isidro Nozal lideró la clasificación general durante gran parte de la carrera hasta sucumbir a la presión de Roberto Heras que recortó distancias con Nozal en los últimos días y se hizo con el maillot en la contrarreloj final. El maillot de puntos lo ganó Erik Zabel de Alemania, el maillot de montaña lo ganó Félix Cárdenas de Colombia y el maillot combinado lo ganó Alejandro Valverde. iBanesto.com fue el ganador del ranking por equipos. The 58th Vuelta a España (Tour of Spain), a long-distance bicycle stage race and one of the three grand tours, was held from 6 September to 28 September 2003. It consisted of 21 stages covering a total of 2,957 km (1,837 mi), and was won by Roberto Heras of the US Postal cycling team.
Isidro Nozal lead the general classification for much of the race until succumbing to the pressure posed by Roberto Heras who closed the gap to Nozal over the final days and took the jersey in the final time trial. The points jersey was won by Erik Zabel from Germany, the mountain jersey was won by Félix Cárdenas from Colombia and the combination jersey was won by Alejandro Valverde. iBanesto.com was the winner of the team ranking. Alessandro Petacchi, an Italian sprinter won four stages.
